Mr. Harold Hogan and Mr. Lee Hughes ran a Insurance Agencyon thecorner of Oakland. The Drews's Drugstore was on the Corner,accrossfromtheLake. I lived directly in front of the Big ElevenLake. When a child, We visiting my Grand parents, Who lived a 1136 Freeman. I thought that area from 10th & Jersey, to Minnesota Ave. was the coolest place on earth. My Father would bring BBQ from HEZZY'S, It was the most delightful meal I had ever had. Now those were the Good Old Day's I remember the area well from my youth.
